Late 2015 Workstation Build

I plan on building a new workstation in November or December since my current one was built around April of 2011 and I want to try to build a Hackintosh.  So, Instead of putting $500 in to an “ok” Hackintosh I think it would be more cost effective to rebuild my current desktop as the Hackintosh and build a new workstation that will last about 5 years.

My current workstation is a Core i7 overclocked to 3.2Ghz with 16Gb of DDR3 RAM and a 500Gb SSD. I’ve upgraded my graphic card three times, ATI 5870 then a Nvidia 680 and now a Nvidia 750, and since I run 3 27in monitors I might upgrade to the 980 with the awesome 6Gb of RAM but thats another post.

Below you can see my current  baseline for a build. I’ve seen some information that Intel is going to release a new processor so this might change.
